Hyundai Genesis Engines
We have not published a fixed engine code for the Hyundai Genesis, because the code varies by build year and variant and we will not guess at it. Send your rego or VIN and we will confirm the correct engine and tell you honestly whether we stock it.
What applies to this model
We will not guess at this model’s engine code
The Hyundai Genesis is not on our published price list. That does not mean we cannot help, it means we would rather identify the engine from your vehicle than quote against an assumption. Send the rego or VIN and we will tell you what it takes and whether we have one.
Hyundai models we do list codes for
If your enquiry turns out to be one of these instead, the codes and prices are already published. The Genesis itself still needs a rego or VIN before we can say anything useful.

Identifying the right engine
Without a published code for this model, the rego or VIN is the only way to proceed. We will tell you plainly if we cannot source it.
What it costs
Pricing for this model is confirmed against your vehicle rather than published, because the code is not on our standard list.
What this sedan is used for
Sedans in this range are usually well out of warranty by the time an engine is in question, which changes the maths.
Where the Genesis sits now
The Genesis sedan was sold here in small numbers before Genesis became its own brand, so we see very few. That is why we identify the engine from the vehicle rather than publishing a code.

Supply and fitCommon questions
Do you supply engines for the Hyundai Genesis?
This model is not on our published price list. Send your rego or VIN and we will confirm the engine code and tell you honestly whether we can supply it.
Is a brand-new engine available?
We will confirm the available options once we know the code.
Can my own mechanic fit it?
Yes, and most interstate customers do exactly that. We crate the engine and freight it to their workshop anywhere in Australia.
Will you beat another quote on a Genesis engine?
Yes, by five per cent, provided it is an itemised written quote for identical work from a legitimate workshop.
